Takers May Be Offended, Oh Well!

Serving people/kids/those in vulnerable situations/in crisis-mode, in need, foster kids, and so on (humanity on a larger scale) is different than those who are looking to forgo doing their own work on their lives or are exuding entitlement mentalities (when they have the capacity).  

Self-care is having a non-negotiable oxygen mask/setting zones in your life that are private time and off-limits. Self-centered/self-serving is behaving as if you're entitled to anything that belongs to someone else: their harvest, their time... when you're not their dependent.
