Loud minds need a dose of regular quiet time to "process" our jumbled up ADHD thoughts which is another aspect of sensitivity to interruptions that aren't from dependents or our own household during those "mental recharge" guaranteed rest breaks.
Your peace and mental health > anyone's opinion who isn't from your household or obligations, we all "recharge" differently and I need a set amount of quiet to hear and process my ADHD thoughts. I make no apologies for my logistical limitations and I think we all should own it.
A smaller circle comes down to logistics, hate it or love it: I am good either way.
The only people who should be part of your life are the ones who you know care for your wellness (mutually) rather than those who pretend to care because they are looking to take from you which is not good for mental energy preservation and burnout prevention.
